We have recently launched our new website and have been working to ensure that everything is correct. We have also had a shortage of volunteers but we now have our fantastic office team up and running again. Now for the update on our wonderful Xavi

Since Xavi has come to Tenerife Horse Resuce we have taken great care of him. He had some trouble with the bones in his legs that we wanted to find the issue and solutions for. After new x-rays we have been shown deterioration in the pedal or coffin bone in his leg. This bone is like the tip of the human finger. What this means is that Xavi has discomfort and pain in his legs, which made it difficult for him to walk. The issues in his legs come from mistreatment or lack of care from previous owners. We want to make Xavi’s life as great as we can so we have put boots on his legs to make him more comfortable. With the padding from the boots, Xavi has been able to walk again without pain and suffering.
