Our animal charity is 100% volunteer-run, allowing the money raised to go directly to our horses, our animals, and the expansion of our sanctuary. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us in one way or another. Each and every one of you has helped us build and expand.
Our next big project will be to raise enough money to acquire the neighboring land to build a giant paddock for old and sick horses. This is something that currently does not exist in Tenerife. Land is limited and expensive, which means horses are almost always kept in spaces that do not allow them to move freely as they should.

Running an animal shelter like ours is hard work and means our team is working around the clock, 24/7, to ensure the rescued animals are happy, healthy, well-fed, and cared for. This means we often have little time left in the day to take care of the essential technical, business, or fundraising aspects that keep the shelter running day-to-day and hopefully thriving and growing in the future. If you’re a social media or fundraising expert, a marketing or accounting guru, or have skills in construction, electrical, plumbing, or any other useful skill and would like to contribute your efforts to our cause, we’d love to welcome you. Even if you don’t have the free time or funds to donate, you can make a huge difference for the shelter simply by using your smartphone or computer. The more people know and understand our mission, the more help and funds we can generate. Simply visiting our social media pages and then following, liking, or sharing our posts allows us to reach more people and help more animals who desperately need our help.
People often ask us, “What’s next?” and we know our work will never stop. As the only registered horse and animal sanctuary in Tenerife, we need your help to grow and expand so we can offer places and help to as many animals as possible. There is always work to be done to improve our facilities, and as we progress, we intend to expand the site onto an adjacent plot so we can house and care for more horses, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and any other animals that need our help. Our goal is to permanently end the suffering of unwanted or abused animals in Tenerife, but to do this, we need more space, volunteers, and, of course, funding.
