Lio

With a heavy heart we have to announce that we have made the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our Wonderful boy Lio.

After 5 years with us living his best life we could no longer keep him pain free and happy.

Poor Lio had a very difficult start to life. With severe skin allergies which were treated for the first 6 years of his life with heavy steroids which caused damage to his bladder and kidneys.

After 6 months we managed to get the wounds under control but it was always a challenge to deal with his skin. Trial and error of the years with one of the best vets on the island we managed to get him comfortable for 4 happy years where he enjoyed playing at the beach, exploring the island and being loved by everyone.

Lio really was an amazing dog. And it was such a heartbreaking decision to make. However, it was the time. He stopped enjoying things he once did and he started to suffer. So as a big part of the family who we love we choose to let him free.

Good bye our lovely Lio. Thank you for everything and we will never forget you.
