Thank you for your time with us.

Our hearts are very heavy as we share the devastating news of Fran’s sudden passing.
It was a shock to us all and especially to the volunteers who cherished him deeply, in particular Silvia who looked after him as he was growing up.
We found him in the field, having crossed over the rainbow bridge unexpectedly. Unbelievably suddenly during feeding time, he left us, leaving no trace of why or how. Some of us had seen him just 20 minutes prior happy in the paddock. There wasn’t a mark on him, and although heartbreaking it gives us a little comfort reassuring us that he passed without suffering and very quickly.
Yet, his departure feels far to soon, leaving our family with questions unanswered.
We’re immensely grateful to everyone who loved, supported, and aided in Fran’s rescue. Your kindness made his time with us meaningful, and for that, we’re forever grateful.
To say it with Silvias words: “You will be missed forever, kleine Maus” ❤️
