With his beautiful grey beard there was no more suited name than Gandalf for this wise old donkey.
After coming to us from the island of La Palma he has a long story to tell. He came to us mainly for our dry and windy climate which is great for the donkeys which often suffer a lot from flies in the “greener wetter” parts of the islands.
When Gandalf arrived his legs were open and wounded, in lots of pain. But within days they started to heal and allow his strong cheeky character to shine through. Gandalf is really the best name as this donkey really is a wizard, he can escape from anything!
