Dear sponsor, thank you so much for your unwavering support. We apologise that it has been such a long time since our last updates. We have recently launched our new website and have been working to ensure that everything is correct. We have also had a shortage of volunteers but we now have our fantastic office team up and running again. Now for the update on our wonderful Ava.

Since Ava has been at Tenerife Animal Sanctuary, she has had recurring eye conditions. Ava has needed a lot of medical attention since she has joined us so by you sponsoring her, it has benefited her in many ways. She has stopped having serious eye problems that have been causing her pain. We know this because she has gained weight and she has been eating more. Although she is no longer in pain, her eyesight has not improved. This means that Ava is not confident living in a paddock with other horses. However, she is in between two horse paddocks and has made friends with the horses, in particular Bounty, over the fence.

We are so happy that Ava is thriving here and it means so much to have your sponsorship. She is one of our anaimals that needs the most care and attention. That’s why sponsoring her really means so much to us. The money you donate goes directly to helping Ava, and improves their well-being in a life changing way.
